Head Coach Sarah Lear began year round swimming when she was 8 years old. She swam until she was 16 yrs old for Longhorn Aquatics (Texas Aquatics), Texas Gold and Bowie High School. Her best and favorite event was the 200 Butterfly. She started coaching the Shady Hollow Stingrays at 17 yrs old as assistant coach and coached there for 6 years. The last year she was head coach and pregnant. She took the summer of 2004 off with her new baby. In 2005, Coach Sarah returned to coaching as head coach of the newly formed Barracudas! The rest is history!

Asst. Coach Tinee orginally began year round swimming in North Carolina at age seven. In middle school she stopped swimming year round. She returned to competitive swimming at Bowie High School. Her favorite stoke is backstroke and she is excited to be a Barracudas swim coach this year! She is a Senior in college with a major in Education.

Co-coach Kristin Seiter has been on the swim team since it began in 2005. Currently, she is a senior at Bowie High School. Kristin says, "I'm super excited to be an iCoach this year, and I know we will have a great year. Go Barracudas!"

Asst. Coach "Drill Sergeant" Mark is a Lake Travis Fire Fighter. Coach Mark just finished with the latest round of firefighter recruits and jumped at the chance to whip some kids into firefighter shape. Coach Mark has been Lifeguard, swim instructor and pool manager for 7 years. This is Mark's third year to coach SAAB, he really likes it and looks forward to many more seasons as a Barracuda!

Co-Coach Madison will be a freshman in college this year. She has been a Barrracuda for 6 years. Madison has been swimming since she was 7 years old. She likes all kinds of sports including swimming, volleyball, la crosse and other sports. She is excited to be a coach again this year and offers swimming lessons.

New this year are our iCoaches which will be helping our Coaches with the younger swimmers. These new iCoaches are Andrew, Cara, Callie, Jordan, Simone, Kasey, Rachel, and Elise. Look for them in the pool helping you across the pool in a snap!

Our New Asst. Coach Mark Mc began swimming summer league at the age of 4. From there he launched himself into club swimming for TXLA and became an All-American 100 yard breastroker and multi time all state swimmer for James Bowie High School, ultimately going on to swim for a div 2 team at the University of the Incarnate Word. In addition, Mark has over 6 years of coaching experience at the summer league and year around program levels. He is very excited to be joining the Barracudas!
